About MG Astor - The Astor, based on the MG ZS, is set to make its debut in India. The Astor will be the first model in the company's global lineup to have an industry-first personal AI assistant system when it launches. i-Smart Hub powers this technology, which is capable of displaying human-like emotions, voices, and providing extensive information through Wikipedia. The Autonomous Level-2 technology will also be included in the forthcoming SUV. To provide a wide variety of advanced driver-assistance systems, this technology employs mid-range radars and a multi-performance camera (ADAS). The car was last seen during the 2020 Detroit Auto Show. The MG Astor is offered in the worldwide market with two engine options: a 1.5-litre VTi and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol powertrain. The former has a power output of 118bhp and torque of 150Nm, while the latter has a power output of 161bhp and torque of 230Nm. A five-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission are available. At this time, there are no details on which option would be included in the India-spec vehicle.
