About Upcoming Toyota Land Cruiser - The sixth-generation Land Cruiser has been revealed by Toyota. By December 2021, the SUV is scheduled to be on the market. It would most likely cost between Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 1.8 crore (ex-showroom). The sixth-generation Land Cruiser is powered by twin-turbo V6 engines (both petrol and diesel): a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol (415PS/650Nm) and a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel (309PS/700Nm) from Toyota. Both come with a 10-speed AT transmission. While the automaker has confirmed that a naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission would be available, it has not indicated which markets will receive it.

A free-floating touchscreen infotainment system, steering-mounted controls, and power-adjustable front seats are included in the SUV. Multiple airbags, vehicle stability control, traction control, and multi-terrain ABS with EBD are all potential safety features. The Toyota Safety Sense active safety package, which includes technologies like a pre-collision system that helps avoid or reduce the impact of an accident, is also available on the sixth-generation vehicle. The Lexus LX is its sole competitor in India.
