About Upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class 2021 - Mercedes-Benz has given the C-Class a mid-life upgrade in India. The executive sedan's appearance has been updated, and the engine options have been changed. The C-Class is offered in three trim levels, each powered by a smaller diesel engine with two tuning options. Only aesthetic modifications have been made to the updated C-Class, which include a reworked front grille and bumpers. Instead of the conventional dual-louvred grille, the diamond radiator grille with chrome pins is now available. With bigger intakes and a sporty bumper lip, the bumpers take on an AMG-like appearance.

The headlamp signature has been changed, but if you upgrade to Mercedes' LED High Performance headlights, you'll receive numerous LEDs with subtle DRL in between that look really fantastic. A C-shaped strip with a cluster of LEDs is incorporated within the tail lights, giving them a new look. The car rides on freshly designed alloy wheels in diameters ranging from 16 to 18 inches. The dimensions of 4686x1810x1442mm remain the same. The general cabin layout remains unaltered on the interior, although there are a few minor tweaks to keep things looking new. For example, the dashboard material has been updated, and the steering wheel controls have been updated. The center-mounted screen has been upgraded to a 10.25-inch display. Smartphone connectivity is also available on the infotainment screen. There are a total of 64 shades in the ambient lighting. In addition, the upholstery might be black, beige, brown, or a mix of these colours.

Mercedes-Benz offers only one diesel engine in the new C-Class, which also powers the upgraded E-Class. C220d and C300d are two versions of the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel. The former generates 194bhp at 3800rpm, while the latter delivers 245bhp and 370Nm. The 9G-Tronic gearbox, which replaces the previous 7G-Tronic, is standard on all C-Class grades and sends power to the rear wheels alone. The 220d Prime is priced at Rs 40 lakhs, the C220d Progressive is priced at Rs 44.5 lakhs, and the C300d AMG Line is priced at Rs 48.5 lakhs. The pricing are unchanged from the previous model, and the C-Class continues to compete with arch-rivals such as the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 (both of which are due for an update). It also competes with the Jaguar XE and the Volvo S60.
