About Upcoming Norton Atlas 650 - Norton has registered the names of six new motorcycles that will be part of the company's future portfolio. The Electra, Fastback, Navigator, Nomad, Ranger, and Combat are all examples of this. For more information, go here. Norton Motorcycles has introduced its Atlas entry-level line, which includes two models: the Atlas Nomad and Atlas Ranger. These motorcycles were on display at the Motorcycle Live exhibition in the United Kingdom in 2018. In the country, just 250 units of each bike were available, with delivery set to begin in May 2019. At a later date, Norton is expected to release the Atlas Nomad and Atlas Range in additional European regions. We anticipate Norton's 650cc versions will be available in India by .

The two bikes are driven by a new 650cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 85.1PS and 64Nm of torque. For some sideways fun, it has two phases of switchable traction control as well as switchable ABS. The bikes include completely adjustable Roadholder upside down forks and a preload-adjustable Roadholder monoshock on the hardware side. Dual 320mm Brembo discs with Brembo radial callipers up front and a 245mm rear Brembo disc handle braking duties. ABS with dual channels is standard.

Both the Atlas Ranger and Atlas Nomad have spoke wheels on both ends with Avon Trekrider and Trailrider tyres. However, the Ranger has a larger 19-inch wheel with a 120-section tyre, compared to the Nomad's 18-inch wheel with a 110-section tyre. The Ranger and Nomad have 17-inch wheels with 170/60 R17 and 180/55 R17 tyres in the back. The Atlas Nomad and Atlas Ranger are likely to be on the higher end of the pricing scale. The Ducati Scrambler 800 and the Triumph Street Scrambler are competitors for these bikes.
