About Upcoming Indian Scout Bobber Sixty - The new Indian Scout Bobber Sixty has been been unveiled by Indian Motorcycle. The Scout Sixty, for the uninitiated, is another motorbike in the company's line-up with the 'Sixty' suffix. The Scout Bobber Sixty, like the Scout Bobber Sixty, appears to promise a somewhat more inexpensive bundle with minor changes.

It's a stripped-down Scout Bobber, but don't let that fool you; it doesn't look like one, at least from the outside. It, too, has the same all-black motif as its donor model, which makes it rather scary to look at. It has perch-mounted rear view mirrors, as opposed to bar-end ones on the original model. Blacked-out engine section, stripped-down headlamp, contemporary tank logo, all-new five-spoke wheels (black), and a single-seat that is also blacked-out are some of the main aesthetic differentiators. It comes in two different colours: gloss black and matte black.

The bike's mechanicals are powered by a 999 cc V-Twin engine that produces 74 PS and 88 Nm of torque. The same 5-speed gearbox is offered with this engine. For the record, the Scout Sixty is powered by the same unit. When compared to the Scout Bobber's engine, this one is somewhat underpowered and weighs 10 kg less. Its components include a front 41mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers (rear). The front has a Kenda K673F 130/90-16 tyre, while the back has a Kenda K673 150/80-16 tyre. The bike has already been released in its native market, but it is scheduled to arrive in India around the middle of . It has also been featured on the Indian government's website. The price has been fixed at USD 8,999 for the American market, which equates to a little more than 6.5 lakh. While the Scout Bobber is priced at Rs. 13.15 lakh (ex-showroom, India), anticipate it to cost about Rs. 11 lakh in the 'Sixty' incarnation.
