The bike is designed in the same style as the Leoncino 500, but with more compact proportions. It's driven by a 249cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine that produces 25.8PS at 9250rpm and 21.2Nm at 8000rpm in its present configuration. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. A 41mm upside down fork and a monoshock at the rear handle suspension responsibilities. The Leoncino 250 is equipped with a single 280mm front petal disc and a 240mm rear petal disc, as well as dual-channel ABS as standard. It rides on 17-inch wheels with 110-section front and 150-section rear tyres. It competes against the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Honda CB300R, and Bajaj Dominar.
