About Upcoming Aprilia RS 150 - The RS 150 concept was unveiled by Aprilia at the 2018 Auto Show. Aside from engine specs, not much more was revealed. The Aprilia RS 150 was, in fact, the bike on display at the Expo. Aprilia showed the GPR 150 at a private event in early 2019, sparking rumours that it will deliver the GPR 150 to India instead of the RS 150. There's also a potential Aprilia would rename the GPR 150 the RS 150 for the Indian market.

The Aprilia GPR 150 is manufactured in China and can be imported into India as a CKD, however Aprilia stated during the 2018 Auto Expo that it intends to build the motorcycles in India. The new bike will be driven by a 150cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that produces 18PS and 14Nm, according to Aprilia. The Aprilia GPR 150 isn't as sporty as the Aprilia RS 150 in terms of appearance. However, the bike's fundamentals remain the same, including a perimeter frame, aluminium swingarm, USD fork, and monoshock. In India, the Aprilia GPR 150 will compete with the Yamaha R15 Version 3.0.

The low clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs make for aggressive ergonomics.

It has a 249.2cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that generates 26.5PS and 22Nm. The engine is connected to a chain final drive through a 6-speed gearbox. A rear mono-shock and an inverted fork are among the underpinnings. A front disc brake with radial calliper and a rear disc brake with floating calliper bring the bike to a standstill. ABS with dual channels is standard. Aprilia is expected to debut the bike in India during the Auto Expo. If Aprilia goes ahead with the launch, the bike is expected to cost approximately Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete against the Honda CBR250R and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 whenever it is released.
