It will be an entry level SUV. The Mahindra S101 Mini SUV will be a sub-4 metre vehicle which will be powered by same 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder engine that does duty to the Quanto.

Skoda, Czech carmaker is now all set to bring the new Superb in Indian car markets very soon. The new Skoda Superb gets a new look butterfly grille, a more angular design language, sharp crystalline shaped head-lamps with DRLs and LED tail lamps for better view. The cabin of the car has the addition with improved audio system, high-quality plastics and more interior space thanks to its 28mm longer wheelbase.

The new Skoda Superb is based on Volkswagen’s MQB platform resulting in the car weighing 75kg less than its predecessor. The Skoda Superb will be available in both petrol and diesel with 3 different gearbox options including two automatics and one manual.

Last year Tata Motors brought the Zest and Bolt and now planning to launch a small hatchback and an affordable sub-compact sedan. The new Tata Kite will replace the Indica eV2 and Indigo eCS respectively in the Indian market. It is expected to be launched in the next couple of months.

The new Tata Kite will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.05-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine. While the 1.2-litre petrol unit will be an all new engine, the 1.05-litre, 3-cylinder mill will be a downsized version of Tata’s 1.4-litre DiCOR diesel engine.

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque

Tata Motors owned Land Rover is preparing to launch the facelifted version of the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque in Indian market by 19 November 2015. The new Evoque will have redesigned front bumper with big air-scoops, LED head-lamps, all new allow design, better seats and an improved multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen display.

In terms of technology front, the new Range Rover Evoque has been fitted with the All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) System taken from its bigger Range Rover model and a newly developed Ingenium TD4 engine which weighs 20-30kg lesser than the outgoing model. A turbocharged Si4 petrol unit will also be available. It also features a lane-driving assistant, an autonomous emergency braking system and a system to detect and prevent driver drowsiness.

Ford Endeavour

The new generation Ford Endeavour unveiled earlier this year and go on sale in several markets including India. The new Ford Endeavour will based on Ford’s Edge design . The improve vehicle’s off-roading capabilities, the company has built it on a new ladder frame chassis.

The new Ford Endeavour will be offered with 2-engine options, a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel and a 3.2-litre, 5-cylinder diesel unit, the Indian model might continue to feature the existing 2.5-litre and 3.0-litre diesel units.

Maruti Suzuki India is planning to launch diesel version of Alto 800.The company set to launch by the end of this year. The Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Diesel will become India’s most affordable diesel car. The Alto 800 Diesel features the same 793cc, 2-cylinder diesel engine which deliver 47bhp of power and 125Nm of torque.

After the launch of its Celerio diesel hatchback, Maruti Suzuki India is planning to bring in the diesel version of its top-seller Alto 800 as well. Set to launch by the end of this calendar year, the Maruti Alto 800 diesel will become the country’s most affordable diesel car. It will feature the same 793cc, two-cylinder diesel units that is good for 47bhp and 125Nm.

Honda BR-V

Japanese carmaker Honda is ready to launch compact SUV segment car in India. The new Honda BR-V SUV will be confirmed to launched in next year 2016. The Honda BR-V is based on the extended Brio platform and features. The new Honda BR-V SUV is capable of seating 7 passenger and compete with Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster and Maruti Suzuki S-Cross.

The Honda BR-V is expected to be powered by the same engines using in Honda City and Honda Jazz. Honda’s Customers have an engine options include a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel unit mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission box.
