Yamaha Scorpio

The Yamaha India’s new Scorpio looks similar like Libero. The Yamaha Scorpio motorcycle is powered by 223cc Air-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve, a single engine which produces 18 Bhp @ 8000 rpm and peak of torque 17.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed Constant mesh gear box. The power values are much lesser than the ones expected from its first look, but as said above its show business. The model is manufactured with Steel double cradle chassis which is light weight easy to handle the bike on the Indian road conditions.

The Yamaha Scorpio is equipped highly safety and comfortable features including Hydraulic single disc brake at the front, Drum brake (leading, trailing) at rear wheels along with front Telescopic fork suspension, and Swingarm rear suspension.

In terms of dimension, the Yamaha Scorpio has overall length is 2020 mm, width 770 mm, height 1090 mm, and seat height 770 mm. The 165 mm ground clearance save your bike from under damages and big 1295 mm wheelbase make your riding safe while you in top speeds. The bike has a total fuel capacity of 13 kmpl which is impressive and gives you hassle free riding experience. For a single fuel filling, you are free to worry about the long ride with your loved once.

The dashboard of the bike is equipped with digital instruments such as Digital Speedometer, Analogue Tachometer, Digital-2 Trip Meter, Digital Fuel gauge and more digital system available which makes it more attractive. The stylish and sleek body looks very attractive and a perfect option for all bike lovers in the Indian market. The tyres used are 80/100-18 (47P) and 100/90-18 (56P) for front and rear respectively.

The Yamaha Scorpio is available in 3 different color shades Black, Red, and Silver. The company has not announced any launch plans for Indian customers yet, but we expect it to be around INR 90,000.
